The OVB0A sensor’s selective conversion gain feature provides the best balance between High Dynamic Range (HDR) and low-light image quality. That enables the smartphone manufacturers to optimize the performance of HDR in contrasting Dark and Light areas.
With 16-in-1 Pixel Binning OVB0A sensor can produce images of 12.5MP, and for video recording, it can achieve 4K at 120 fps (frames per second) or 4K at 60 fps with the timing of 2‑exposure staggered HDR. The on-chip pixel reduction feature enables OVB0A to record 8K video and 2x crop zoom (with HDR) at 12.5MP.
The OVB0A image sensor supports DPHY, CPHY, and dual DOVDD (1.8V and 1.2V) and the sensor will be available from Q4 2022.
